Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a global score of 66.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s global score of 65. Although the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 body is just a little bit thicker but also lighter. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a faster GPU working at 450 MHz and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a way smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a quite greater amount of pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with just a bit more storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both of them have a 3 MP resolution camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
