The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a score of 65, which is better than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's 57.5 score. Both of these tablets work with the same Android 4.1 OS (Operating System), so they should offer identical operating system features. Despite of the fact Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is older and heavier than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, it's design is still a little thinner.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have 2 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has a graphics co-processor. The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a lot smaller display and a way lower 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a little greater pixel density.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has 16 GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a way better battery life than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 75% more battery size. GALAXY Tab 3 Kids captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both have a camera with a 3 mega pixels.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), else you can save some money and get the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go some features and specs.
