Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a general score of 67.8, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s score of 65. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 version. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's construction is newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) feature incredibly similar processors, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has a higher number of cores , a faster graphics processor working at 450 MHz and 512 MB more RAM. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a display that is very similar to the display in Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, a same size display and the same amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has just a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 6800mAh.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates.
