Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), having a global score of 65 against 60.4. Although it's the best in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is an a lot older, incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker tablet device than the Galaxy Tab A (2016). Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the previous 4.1 version while Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a way lower screen pixel density, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a lot bigger display. Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a slightly bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has only 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 200 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores and 512 MB lesser RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A (2016). If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab A (2016), and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
