The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, having a general score of 65 against 60.5. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an older 4.1 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Although it's the best in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a incredibly older, noticeably heavier and incredibly thicker tablet than Galaxy Tab A 9.7.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a better display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a little bit higher screen pixels density, a slightly higher 800 x 1280px resolution and a quite larger screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a lot more mega pixels back camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, letting go a couple specifications.
