The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), with a general score of 74.6 against 65. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a newer portable tablet, and it's also thinner and much lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). These tablets use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1, giving a couple nice extra features.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a lot better display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a same size display, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a much higher screen pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a larger number of cores , 1 GB more RAM and a better graphics processor working at 450 MHz.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a superior memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB and 16 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has an 8220mAh battery size instead of 7000mAh.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
