Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a general score of 65, which is better than Sony Tablet S's 57.5 general score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s body is newer, just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Sony Tablet S. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the newer 4.1 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a little sharper screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a just a bit worse display density, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a little bit bigger display. The Sony Tablet S features much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Sony Tablet S also has more internal storage capacity.
