Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is much better than Sony Xperia Tablet S, getting a 65 score against 58.9. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an older 4.1 version while Sony Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) design is thinner but just a little bit heavier than the Sony Xperia Tablet S, and they were only released 1 months apart.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a slightly better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels amount in each inch of screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a quite larger display. The Sony Xperia Tablet S features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xperia Tablet S counts with just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Tablet S also has a greater number of cores (although slower) and a better graphics processing unit running at 416 megahertz. Xperia Tablet S takes just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a way better resolution camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia Tablet S.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is also cheaper than the Xperia Tablet S, which makes this tablet a simple decision.
