Xperia Tablet Z is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), having a 68.5 score against 65. The Xperia Tablet Z construction is a lot thinner and somewhat lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), even though both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 version, providing a lot of extra features and improved performance.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a way greater display pixel density and a way higher 1200 x 1920px resolution. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a 400 megahertz graphics processing unit, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has 1 GB more RAM and 2 more 1.5 GHz cpu cores.

Xperia Tablet Z has a way bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 64 GB.
