The Huawei MediaPad M1 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), with a overall score of 61.5 against 60.7. The Huawei MediaPad M1 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also just a bit lighter and noticeably thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a more recent 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a higher 1280 x 800 resolution, a bit better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a bit larger display. Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has a higher number of cores.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports up to 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has 32 GB internal storage. Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
