The Microsoft Surface 2 has a general score of 63.4, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s score of 60.7. Microsoft Surface 2's body is newer and thinner, but heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a little higher pixel density, a much larger screen and a lot higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
