Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a 66.3 score against 60.7. Although Microsoft Surface 3 is notably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's thinner and also a lot newer. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a little bit lower amount of pixels per inch in the display, a lot worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and a much smaller screen.
Microsoft Surface 3 has a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a higher number of cores (and faster) and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.
Microsoft Surface 3 captures a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a way higher 1920x1080 video resolution. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a very superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
