Although the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's thinner and also much newer. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) works with Windows 10 Pro operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) comes with Android 4.1 operating system.
