Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a general score of 72.2 against 60.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with Android 4.1 operating system. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a noticeably newer and thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), although it's also way heavier.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have 2 cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a higher amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much bigger display, a much higher 1440 x 2160 resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a much worse 1280x720 video definition and a back-facing camera with a lot lower 3 mega pixels resolution.
