The Galaxy Note 10.1 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a 66.3 score against 60.7. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you a couple additional features. Galaxy Note 10.1's body is somewhat thinner but way heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and both were released with only a couple of months difference.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a higher number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a way smaller screen and a lot worse 600 x 1024px resolution, it also counts with a bit better count of pixels in each inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 32 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a back camera with a much lower resolution and a worse video definition.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
