Both tablets in this comparison have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has older 3.1 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE design is much heavier but somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a processor that is very similar to the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) one, they have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a lot lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE.
