Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), with a overall score of 65.9 against 60.7. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's construction is newer and thinner, but also notably heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both devices we compare here have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a newer 4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1, so it offers some nice extra features and performance enhancements.
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both have 2 cpu cores and the same RAM amount. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a really smaller display and a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024, it also counts with a little better pixels amount per screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both have the same video frame rates, the same (HD) video resolution and a same resolution back-facing camera.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), resigning some specifications.
