The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a score of 68.7 against 60.7. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a newer 4.2.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1, providing the user some additional features. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a newer tablet, and it's also a little bit lighter and a lot thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the display, a little bit smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024.
