Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a global score of 65.6, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s global score of 60.7. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1, so it counts with some nice extra features and enhanced performance. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a notably newer portable tablet, and it is also somewhat thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a better resolution of 1280 x 800px and a higher pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 24 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same video quality and a back facing camera with a 3 megapixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's battery performance is just as good as the battery duration in Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs a bit more than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
