The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is way better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a score of 74.5 against 60.7. Both devices in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is notably heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's extremely thinner and much newer.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a bit worse screen density, a lot smaller screen and a lot lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 400 GB.
