Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), having a score of 64.9 against 60.7. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a bit heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's somewhat thinner and a lot newer. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a higher amount of RAM and 2 more CPU cores. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it has a way lower 600 x 1024 resolution, a quite smaller display and a just a little less pixels per screen inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has an external SD slot that allows 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
