The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a score of 74.5, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s score of 60.7. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a much newer tablet, and it's also lighter and thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1600px, a bigger screen and a way better screen density. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 4900mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back and a much higher 1920x1080 video definition.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
