Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 60.7, which is a little bit better than Sony Tablet S's 57.5 general score. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s body is newer and a lot lighter, but also a little bit thicker than Sony Tablet S. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has 4.1 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, providing the user some extra features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a little bit better display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a way lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher screen pixel density. The Sony Tablet S's storage capacity for apps and games is very similar to Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s one, both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 32 GB and exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity.

The Sony Tablet S counts with a processing unit that's very similar to the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) one, both have 1 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Sony Tablet S counts with superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Sony Tablet S counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Sony Tablet S also has a back facing camera with lot more MP.
