Sony Vaio Tap 11 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a general score of 66 against 60.7. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has Windows 8 operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 operating system. Sony Vaio Tap 11's construction is just a little bit thinner but a lot heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much larger display, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a quite higher amount of pixels in each inch of display.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) captures a bit better photos and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a much less mega pixels resolution back facing camera.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you need that extra features, you can buy Sony Vaio Tap 11, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), letting go some features and specs.
