The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's global score of 65.9. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's construction has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, but it is much lighter. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a newer 4.2.2 version while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2 version.
