The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1, getting a score of 65.9 against 61.5. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch construction has the same thickness than Huawei MediaPad M1, but it's much heavier. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has older 4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has a larger number of 1.6 gigahertz cores. The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 32 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch shoots clearer photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, although it has a camera in the back with a lot lower 3 mega-pixels resolution and a way worse (HD) video quality.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a much longer battery duration than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 42 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
