Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, with a 72.2 score against 65.9. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 construction is newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch works with Android 4.2 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a bigger display, a much higher 1440 x 2160 resolution and more pixels per inch of display. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has more RAM.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch captures slightly better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a camera with lot less mega pixels and a much worse (HD) video quality.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, giving up a couple features and specs.
