Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a general score of 65.9 against 58.4. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch works with Android 4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a newer tablet, and it's also thinner and much lighter than Microsoft Surface RT.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch and the Microsoft Surface RT have incredibly similar screens, because although the Microsoft Surface RT has a little lower display pixel density, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1366px. Microsoft Surface RT features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has an extra graphics co-processor, a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores.
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera. Microsoft Surface RT features a little bit better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, else you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple features and specs.
