Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a overall score of 65.9 against 65. Even when the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch and the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is lighter and just a bit thinner. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with Android 4.2 operating system, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with Windows 8 operating system.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has a bit greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly higher resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch takes much clearer photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has a much worse video quality and a much less MP resolution camera.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a superior battery duration than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
