Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, with a score of 66.7 against 65.9. Even being the best in this review, we must note that it's also older, heavier and somewhat thicker. The Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch works with Android 4.2 OS.
The Samsung Ativ Tab and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch count with quite similar screens, and although the Samsung Ativ Tab has a just a bit greater pixels amount per inch in the screen and a little higher 768 x 1366 resolution, they both have a display of the same size. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a lot lower 3 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse 1280x720 video quality. The Samsung Ativ Tab features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a 21% bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
