The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, having a general score of 65.9 against 58.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch construction is incredibly newer, just a little bit thinner and just a little lighter than the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a more recent 4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version, giving you a couple additional features.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both have 2 CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. They have a display with the same size, the same pixel density and exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a much greater memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 10.1 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a lot higher video resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1's battery lifetime is just as good as the battery life in Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch.
