Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, having a 68.7 score against 65.9. Even when Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is way lighter and just a bit thinner. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the newer 4.2.2 version while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also counts with a higher display pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has 512 MB more RAM and a GPU.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's memory for games and applications is just as good as Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity against 4450mAh.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a way better 5 MP resolution camera in the back.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is also a bargain compared to the other tablets, making buying this tablet an easy decision.
