Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a global score of 65.9, which is better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's overall score of 57.5. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has 4.2 version while Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids were released with only a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's body is much thinner but also extremely heavier.
Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a really smaller display and a way lower 600 x 1024px resolution, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a much greater memory for games and applications than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with just a bit better hardware performance than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both of them have 2 cpu cores and 1 GB of RAM. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch takes much better photos and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. They have a same resolution back facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a really longer battery performance than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
