Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a general score of 65.9, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's global score of 65.6. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has 4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch construction is somewhat thinner than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, but it's much heavier and was released only 10 months before.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, although it has 512 MB lesser RAM and lesser cores (although they are faster). Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a higher pixels number per screen inch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a superior memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has 32 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 70 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, giving up some features and specifications.
