Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, having a 65.9 score against 60.5. Both devices in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has older 4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch construction is older, a little thicker and heavier than Galaxy Tab A 9.7.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, although it has lesser processing cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a just a bit higher pixels count per inch in the display, a little bigger screen and a quite better resolution of 800 x 1280px.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, although it has a lower (HD) video definition and a lot lower 3 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a better storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up a couple features and specifications.
