Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is better than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, with a score of 74.6 against 65.9. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2, offering a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's construction is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, although both were only released with a few months difference.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a larger number of cores (and they are faster), a graphics processing unit and a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a lot higher count of pixels per display inch and a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's memory capacity to store more apps and games is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features improved battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a 21% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a back-facing camera with a much better resolution and a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
