Galaxy Tab S3's design is a lot newer, somewhat lighter and incredibly thinner than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2, giving you a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1536 x 2048px resolution and a much higher screen density. The Galaxy Tab S3 features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab S3 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a way higher video quality and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 counts with a greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a little better battery life than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a 13% greater battery size.
