Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), with a general score of 66.5 against 59.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a older and a little thicker tablet device than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but Samsung made it lighter anyway. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features just a bit better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), although it has a just a bit worse pixel count per inch of screen, a little smaller screen and a way lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 1,5 GB more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 captures a bit better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a way better 3 MP resolution back facing camera. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a way better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Although Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), giving up some specs and features.
