The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 67.9, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's 66.5 overall score. Both tablets in this comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer and notably thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, although it's also heavier.
