The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a score of 66.5, which is slightly better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's general score of 61.2. Both of these devices use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, offering a lot of extra features and some performance improvements. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is an older, much thicker and just a bit heavier tablet than the Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Asus MeMO Pad 8 has just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a much greater screen pixel density, a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution and a quite bigger screen. Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and more cores.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a camera with much more mega-pixels. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with much more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 32 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a very superior battery lifetime than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 costs more money than Asus MeMO Pad 8, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
