The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has an overall score of 66.5, which is slightly better than LG G Pad 8.3's 65.9 general score. Although the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and the LG G Pad 8.3 were released with only 4 months difference, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 design is somewhat lighter but somewhat thicker than the LG G Pad 8.3. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with an additional GPU. LG G Pad 8.3 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a bigger display, a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a much higher pixels count per screen inch.

The LG G Pad 8.3 captures greater photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more MP. The LG G Pad 8.3 features as much memory capacity to install applications and games as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, they have equal 16 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it costs more than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad 8.3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.3, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
