Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a general score of 66.5, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface 2's overall score of 63.4. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 operating system. Although Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Microsoft Surface 2 were only released with a few months difference, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 body is somewhat thicker but also lighter.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has lesser 1700 megahertz cores and 512 MB less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Microsoft Surface 2 features a display that's just as good as the screen in Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, although the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a much larger display, a little bit better pixels number per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Microsoft Surface 2 features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back camera with a much better 5 megapixels resolution.
