Even though Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's way lighter and way newer. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version.
