Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, with a 74.5 score against 66.5. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a newer and a lot thinner tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, although it is way heavier. These devices work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2, giving some additional features.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and 1,5 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a really smaller screen, a little bit lower pixel density and a way lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a lot more mega-pixels camera. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a very superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB and more internal memory.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a 7300mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 10.5, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, resigning a couple specifications.
