Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, with a overall score of 67 against 66.5. Even though the Galaxy Tab Active is heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, it's a bit thinner and also newer. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active has the older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), they both have a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor and a 1,5 GB RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab Active has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a just a bit greater pixels density, a little bit bigger display and a better resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with as much storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, they have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that admits up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab Active has a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has an 11% larger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a more mega pixels back facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, resigning a couple specifications.
