Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, getting a general score of 77.5 against 66.5. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro body has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, but it's a lot heavier.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a bit better display than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a bit inferior number of pixels per inch in the display, a lot smaller screen and a way lower 600 x 1024 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a 90% bigger battery size.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a camera with way more MP.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, resigning a couple features and specifications.
