The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is much better than the Sony Tablet S, with a overall score of 66.5 against 57.5. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, providing you a couple nice extra features and improved performance. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 design is newer, incredibly lighter and a little thinner than Sony Tablet S.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a better performance than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has an additional graphics processor and 512 MB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Sony Tablet S has a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory. Sony Tablet S features longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Sony Tablet S counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a much more mega pixels camera.
