Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.7, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s overall score of 59.7. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a lot older than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), it's body is way thinner and lighter. These tablets include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an older 4.2.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a little sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). Both of them have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, a screen with the same size and the same count of pixels per inch in the display. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a processor that's just as good as the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch one, because although the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch shoots much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a much more mega pixels camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
