Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, having a 68.7 score against 68.5. Even when Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 were released only a couple months apart, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is lighter and just a bit thinner. Both of these devices use the same Android 4.2.2 OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide identical operating system features.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a weaker 450 megahertz graphics processor, it also counts with 512 MB more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560, a lot greater pixel quantity per inch in the screen and a quite bigger display.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's camera is just as good as the camera in Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has a lot better resolution camera.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a way better battery lifetime than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
