Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is much better than the Dell Venue 8 7840, getting a general score of 68.7 against 61. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's design is somewhat thicker and a bit heavier than the Dell Venue 8 7840. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has older 4.2.2 version while Dell Venue 8 7840 has Android 4.4 version.
Dell Venue 8 7840 has a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has much more pixels per display inch, a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a bit bigger screen.
